so I was thinking about a few vocalists that have woven courses over the years and the same ness in thier distinct identities, here goes in no particular order Peter Gabriel/phil Collins
greg lake/John wetton,rodger daltry/pete townshend,Jon anderson /chris squire,David Byron/ken Hensley,just a few that come to mind.

Those two guys from the 80's who sang in every band. The one with the high, shall we say, less than masculine voice who sang for bands like Journey and Boston and Styx. And the one with the high scratchy voice who sang for bands like AC/DC and Guns'n'Roses.

I still don't understand the exercise.
Maybe it's because it was started with "so"...

It's simple....you're looking for people who have the same distinct identities. (man, do we have to spoon feed you guys?)

All those guys in The Beatles pretty much sounded alike to me. Maybe it was the accents.

Okay, I could pick out Ringo maybe....the one NOT singing....

it wasnt a question really as it was an observation that when phil collins sings genesis songs it sounds close enough to not effect the songs when greg lake replaced john weton in asia they sounded the same, like when wetoon replaced greg lake in king crimson, when pete townshend sings a daltry part they sound enough the same its hardly noticable.....just random thought appologies for the confusion

Ok... maybe I still don't get it... I'm not seeing the parings... or maybe I am...

Bon Scott/Brian Johnson
Both great singers each with their unique sound, and while they don't sound similar, you can tell it's AC/DC.

I can get that... but then there's comments like..
"The one with the high, shall we say, less than masculine voice who sang for bands like Journey and Boston and Styx.".. ok.. that's like referencing 5 people not one, who don't sound alike at all and never shared any bands.

so... I'm still stumped and need a bib too :(
