My goal was something along the lines of "putting together enough material to make a CD and a gig act." I didn't get there. Oh, I have enough material, but none of it is CD- or gig-worthy. What I ended up accomplishing is finding out what I want to do for the first CD, or the first gig, when they eventually see the light of day. That's a nice piece of knowledge to have, but it was something that I was hoping to knock off as a step on the way earlier on. Oh, well...I'm a single daddy, and personal time is frequently hard to come by, so I'm content with being able to say that I learned at least that. So, the goal of putting together enough material for a CD and a gig is for 2011. You? What do YOU hope to accomplish -- guitar-wise -- for 2011?

Maybe a few string changes more often. Possibly a few more presets programmed on the Zoom. New sod in the front yard, and another zone added to the front yard sprinklers. Finally, another year closer to retirement.

Life kind of got turned around a couple weeks into the year, but is getting back to normal now. I did learn a few more songs and improved the short game, so those resolutions were kept somewhat. I hope the new year remains dull.

Then the goals will be 1) Build calluses back up, and 2) Get back on track with the numerous songs I'm trying to learn.

Not have open mike fright. Attempt another OFC gathering in Woodstock (probably in the spring/early summer). Get an amp for the 02 Collectors Go back to school again. Lose weight (I've already lost some weight and would like to continue on my losing weighs). Michelle
