Well... I was so upset that I brought it into the house and opened it up right away to see if anything happened.
.
.
Just kidding.
It'll stay in it's case until probably tommorrow morning.

I did that with the #47RI once at the cabin. Can't remember how cold it got, but it was well below freezing. It was fine after a slow warm up. That's why I always take an Adamas up there in the winter. It's either that or become less forgetful as I get older and I know that's not going to happen.

What were we talking about again?

And while we're at it, does anyone know where I've put my guitar?

I'm not overly concerned.
There have been hundreds of guitars shipped in sub zero temps in recent weeks.

I just can't believe I did that.

Sounds like a clear case of ADII-ADD...

Was there the promise of sex or a hot meal that distracted you?

I usually only take may Adamai out in the winter, the only thing I have noticed is the tuning goes out a little. I DON'T leave them out in those temps though. Good Luck.

All that matters is that you had the guitar out and were playing it ... show me a guitar that is pristine and you'll show me one that doesn't get played the way it should. Show me one with scars, and I'll ask to hear the stories of it getting played and the people you touched with it. Ergo, there was no abuse involved.

And fer cryin' out loud, it's only an Ovation. It's not like it's a real guitar.

But we gotta talk about this no sex and no food situation you got going on ...

Sounds horrid, but is that really any different than a guitar sitting in the back of an unheated UPS or FedEx truck for 2 or 3 days as it travels across country? As long as you let it warm up slowly before opening the case it should have been OK.

Well, hopefully you don't drop your guitar from five or six feet above into the trunk of your car and pile a dozen or so loaded boxes on top of it and jump up and down on the trunk hatch to make it close before you drive it around for several days.

Other than that, you're right, there probably isn't much difference.
