Suppose I should send back but not worth the effort. Might be interesting...think I would only try 440 with an Adamas or Ovation neck. | ||

Joined: April 2006 Posts: 2491 Location: Copenhagen Denmark | I allways have gauge 13 -57 on my 1537 , the factory told me that it would not be a problem , but look at the differnce of Torque , sets in between , from D`s site : Ej 16 - total torque - 168.3 lbs. EJ 17 - - 182,5 lbs EJ 18 - - 214 lbs. All when tuned to concert -pitch. Let us know how it goes :) Vic | ||

Joined: May 2008 Posts: 17 Location: 92W 39N | I string one of my new 2078Ts with the 11-13-22-32-47-58 set made for the "Crafty" or New Standard Tuning (CGDAEG). Tension is not a problem, but intonation is on the sixth string at and above the 7th fret. I'm going to work on the string height issues at the nut and saddle and then see if I need to increase string length at the saddle as well. Otto | ||

From a respected source concerning 440, neck could handle it, not sure of bridge...so, that settles that. So, will probably use for my modified Custom Legend 1669 SLIDE guitar... | ||
