Friends may those who have, drawings and diagrams springs (Ovation Custom Balladeer 1755) 1984-1990

there is a problem that can not figure out. whether there is a bar under the neck which abut the spring or not when I was not! as the time stamp falls from the string tension and a place to repair it.

Thanks for the info.

Sorry for the English use a translator Google.

I believe you're asking about adjusting the "truss rod". On you model, there is a system called the "K-bar" which is inside the neck. To adjust the truss rod, there is a place under the end of the fingerboard inside the soundhole where a special wrench is inserted that allow you to change the amount of "relief" that the neck has under string tension.

There are some pictures and instructions here on this site that talk about how to do it. Maybe some other people here can post them up because I'm just using an iPhone now and i have a hard time doing it.

G8r, thanks for the info, but that's not the tie-rods.

I'll try to describe the problem more deeply. I need time, that would draw the essence of the issue.

the problem was with my 1758, bar sag deck inside and adjust the sensor holder strings do not help, anchor rod was useless as it regulates only the deflection of the neck. distance between the last fret and the strings were critical and it was impossible to fix.
I put the scheme on the model of spring 1755 and strengthened the position for attaching the neck that would not be pressured into deck.

I have all the photos. I will publish them soon. You'll understand.

Are you trying to adjust the height of the strings? That's done by putting in or taking out a shim under the saddle.....

For those of us who just check on "Today's Active Topics", that was really weird for a few minutes.

If I understand the information above, Denis is looking for bracing patterns. Go here for a start: http://www.ovationtribute.com/Ovation%20Bracing/Ovation%20Bracing.h...

Alan, you just called Denis's mother a "donkey faced heap of parrot droppings". Please stop before you make it any worse.

Lol!

And yet, if you look a mere several posts up, you'll see that Denis sent a private e-mail to MusicMishka's wife, just as I suggested.
