I'm so happy today to announce that she's back in Paris and IT WORTH THE WAIT!!! When I knew at 7.00am that she will be delivered during the morning, I went to my office, I asked to my boss for a free afternoon and he agreed because he's a guitar player too... ;) The guitar is absolutely WONDERFUL, sober as she was before and exactly as in my dreams!!! It's a jewel in a fantastic box because she was delivered in the so nice Ovation carbon case. What for a great surprise!!! As always, the New Hartford's team has done a fantastic job because it was surely not easy to fix all the troubles and to rebuilt a guitar from this prototype. It's not common to see an Adamas with such a top and look what they done where the neck joins the body. They really are Artists!! My wish was to keep the more possible from the original guitar and they heard my wishes. I know that it's really not usual for the Factory to do such a job, they probably accepted to do the repairs because it was a gift from you all and I'd like to thanks them all for this favor. With very special thanks to John.B who has been so great during all the project. Another good surprise is that she sounds as good as she looks and she's very easy to play. The sound is a bit different from my other Adamas but no doubt that it's an Adamas with a great projection and a rich tone. The main spec are a 1" 3/4 neck, ebony fretboard, gold frets, an original Slothead type neck, black nut and pickup, a carved Adamas I carved bridge, a black top without sparkles and a special inlay at 12th without other inlays. My only regret is that someone signed something on the old Adamas type label and it will surely decrease the value of this great instrument... :D Thank you so much Beal, I'm sincerely touched and it's a nice cherry on the cake!! Of course, I know that this project would not have been possible without you all and Randy who stays in contact with me during the past two years. A few days ago, I wrote to one of you that this project is not only a guitar's repair but also a nice expression of the spirit of friendship of the OFC and a great adventure to for me to live. I know how I'm lucky and be sure that I'm proud of this babe!! Thank you all again from the deepest part of my heart, I'm over the moon because of you!!! Now, THE FIRST PICS TAKEN AN HOUR AGO IN MY GARDEN!!! Sorry, they don't give justice to the beauty of this guitar. Jérôme

Why?? Because in August 2009, I met Karl in France during a guitar gathering and he made me a great gift, the original Schaller Slothead tuners from Dave's Adamas original Slothead #42. These are the same tuners but they have something more to my eyes, a true story!! ;) When you're nut, you're nut till the end... :D Thanks again Karl. ;) J:-)

(i failed to mention him earlier but i have an alibi: my brain has turned to mud with all the studying i've been doing these past two years! this second semester of nursing school, as intense and time consuming as it is, only carries 10 credits so i'm taking chemistry for an additional 3 credits to qualify for grants and scholarships. i know i don't post much here these days but this place is always on the back burner.) and many mahalos out to all of you that contributed to make jerome's dream come true.

The job done to fill the big uggly hole at the rear of the bowl is fantastic because you can't see anything after the repair. Only the neck (the previous was dead) and the carved bridge are new. You'll be welcome in France. ;) J :)
