Most of my photos are Guitar Porn, nice photos of past and present guitars. Alot of the photos are for eBay... Photos taken to show the guitars at their very best! Really nice photos of guitars that are long gone... I was watching some of them go by... "What was I Thinking when I sold That One?"

Plus I'm a PU assy for the ol' sunburst pattern... Although I miss her, I have no major regrets in that Riccardo bought it for his 50th birthday present. ![]()

It's the reason I decided a while back that I wouldn't get rid of any more, and as such, I'm pretty careful about what I buy. Once the inspection period is over, it's here for good...unless of course it was a wheel and deal type thing that I only got with the intentions of moving anyway. A short list of guitars I wish I hadn't parted with... 50's Sears Silvertone Acoustic (sentimental reasons) Gibson ES-335 Gibson Les Paul Epiphone Les Paul Studio 1991 Martin D-28 Taylor XXX-MS Fender American Standard Strat HSS Univox Les Paul (sentimental) And that's without thinking about it too much.

So I dont intend on having those regrets. I had my first1 and second ovation stolen when I was apartment liven. Wish I could remember the model numbers. The first was a blond and the second a sunburst both full bowls A/E . I replaced the second one w/ a the 91 HD 28. No renters insurance on the first but I learned my lesson. I finally replaced the 1111 sunburst a few months ago for $225.00. Added a set of gold ovation logo tuners ($35.00) and a trust rod cover, I think it is the prettiest guitar in the world and has that great ovation sound I loved so long ago.

I traded it for a small Marshall amp in the 80's when tube amps were considered crap and solid state was the way to go. Now, it's the opposite. I recently sold the Marshall and bought a small tube amp which really is better than the old Guild, but I sure wish I still had it.

I really regret selling my Fender Vibrolux Reverb that I had in the early '80s. It was just one of those stupid impulse sales - I can't even remember why I sold it.
