I thought to myself, something must be wrong. I have seen him do interviews recently that seemed a little disjointed, but at 70 something he probably has lost interest in answering the same questions he was asked for the last 40 years. Being my boyhood idol, I am saddened by this news. He is a tremendous musician and the reason a lot of us play Ovations.

I had the honor of meeting Glen and speaking briefly with him at NAMM earlier this year. He's a Legend and this is going to be a tough thing for a lot of people who love him ... but fortunately, he does have a lot of people around him who love him. He's a very lucky man in many ways.

I had a friend go with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, it's the exact opposite where the body dies while the mind lives. He wrote a book about his experience call; Laugh, I Thought I'd Die. Though he didn't have a choice between Alzheimers and ALS he said that if he DID, he'd choose ALS. It's sad, but Glen's lived larger than most. Made a lot of people happy and did his best. And that's the best you can do.

Therefore, if he forgets a line to a song it ain't cuz he is High. It's just cuz he is getting Old! Just means that he will be lightening his concert schedule. I hope that I am in such good shape when I am his age... in 21 years.

I saw this with my grandmother and it's like what shakespeare said about the seven stages of life ... sans teeth, sans eyes, sans everything and then it ends. I'm sure being who is there will be people around him who love him ... time passes so quickly
