Location: Scotland | The new logo is a joke. A classic case of fixing something that wasn't broken. The original logo is classic, iconic and instantly recognisable. The new one would appear to have been designed by a 5-year old with crayons, letraset and special needs. It would be a perfect way to identify the imports from the good stuff, but to put that poor excuse for graphic design on the stuff coming out of New Hartford is an insult. It's like replacing the original fender logo with the word "fender" in Helvetica. |

I plan on contacting John about some projects right after NAMM, and I'll be sure to ask specifically for the OLD logo! |

I'd like to check one out, but it really is a specialized extra that only appeals to a small group.

Location: Flahdaw | Sometimes a logo change is needed, as in Ford. That damn logo looks like something on a Model-T, not a cutting edge motor vehicle. But the Ovation logo was elegant AND relevant AND timeless...unless they are planning on doing away with the bowl. |
