I agree, the bean counters and marketing pukes dropped the ball, and the trains leaving the station. I checked the eastwood website and didn't see anything. How did you find out?

It was at the bottom of this page: http://www.myrareguitars.com/affordableGUITAR.html He emailed me back and told me it was a prototype for Eastwood. He also said if they got enough interest expressed they may make more of them. I told him I would be very interested.

The Mosrite copies look pretty good. And the Airlines and others are cool too, IMHO. I think DZilla has a hollowbody Eastwood.

I know someone from another forum who has a blue Breadwinner and he found it and emailed the guy. Only difference from Scooter's story is that this time he said they were indeed going into production.

Ovation has prototypes made and were considering offering the guitar as a repro but it never came about. Rick did say never say never because you never know but currently Ovation is reserving the right to reissue that one on their own. He mentioned that there was not a great interest from the key dealers. (I assume that does not include me) so dream on guys, as your breadwinner/deacons hit higher and higher prices on e bay you may see an authorized reissue but be sure it will not be made in CT. (but never say never)
