Well I got my 1537 in November but then i spent the next 2 months looking for my camera which someone has surely hidden , the next month i spent trying to remember the pin number of my credit card which i had deliberately forgotten as it is still melting under the furnace of outstanding debt on the obscenely expensive larrivee i bought , i then bought a new camera and spent the next month staring at the 300 page instruction book , then i had to wait 6 weeks for a sunny day to take the pictures and then i just didnt get round to posting them

Puppy is about to learn what "Nooooooooooo " means

Totally love the guitar ,thanks again Woz, gets played every day

I just put new strings on mine and polished it up last night. The groves that are starting to appear in the frets and fretboard show how much I like it. They are truly wonderful instruments.

Lovely guitar, very purdy. Dogs need to learn "leave it". Our chew everything puppy is still alive because he has never touched the guitar or piano. Maybe carbon fibre and lycrachord aren't an attractive nibble (unlike runners and underwear?).

We've missed you Andrea, glad to see you're back.

Thanks - a good price - theres one on Ebay for $900 at the moment...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=220240274...

I'm tempted but at $900 perhaps it's too much - yours looks in 100^% condition!

I play finderstyle not strumming so perhaps a 1537 is more suited to strumming?

I dont find that and i play both styles , the tone is so rich and i find it dead easy to play , think i was very lucky getting mine for what i did , i think trader jim sold his at around about the same time for the price yours is on at , as i said on other post if it got stolen i would replace it ( on credit card !) for $900 without hesitation
Go on , you know you wanna

Did you look at the Ebay one - yours looks in much better condition (or is it down to the photos).

Dweez, the 1537 you linked to on eBay is being sold by a long-time OFC member and looks to be in great shape. Especially given that it came back from CT within the last year.. they do amazing restoration/service work...

I paid more than $900 for mine and it was worth it. I always seem to buy at the height of the market, though. They are very easy playing, mellow guitars, so they are perfect for fingerstyle. That's all I've played on mine.

Mauvais, yes sir!

Andrea, curse you! If I hadn't seen your lovely guitar I think I might have just about got away with buying anymore Os. I really hope mine is as good looking as yours. As for tone well I trust the collective wisdom of the members of this board....

I wonder if my 1537 is gonna look as lovely as Andreas, it does look very clean and new with a lovely deep gloss, the pics on Ebay seem to suggest my one is not a patch on this one.

Was your restored or something?

The pictures of yours were taken indoors. You just need to look at the right pic.

Righto, sorry was freaked for a moment. If I hadn't seen this thread then I think I would have managed to not have sucumbed to the temptation to buy a 1537 but once I saw it, it was gonna happen.

If it still looks like this, you can get your money back and then some.

Your purchase also came with the Adoption Agency's Limited+â„¢ Lifetime Warranty which includes electronics package upgrades at cost.

Your new 2-Knobber preamp kit has been in stock!
Moody upgraded his 1537 and says it was worth it. He even installed it himself.
