I can attest that these are REALLY nice guitars. I bustered the treble holes and it's really got as nice tone for a supershallow. Somebody will own a nice guitar from Serge. Dave ![]()

Marcel sold this beauty to Patrick & David Wagner (dad & son) from the french "Guitar Pickers Association" in the early 90's. They still have it today. You can visit the GPA web site at: GPA Web Site The blue one has never been owned by Marcel but was made with the same specifications. A larger neck (easier for playing finger picking) and the same epaulets on right and left. It's really a rare instrument and probably a custom order. This one is for sale in France but is too expensive for my budget!! :( (4500 euros/5400 US$)!! I should have in the next weeks more pictures from other great guitars who were owned by marcel. They are in GPA's members collections. Jérôme

But starting a topic here is not like putting an ad in the newspaper with no feedback allowed. The give and take of a thread and the different views that it can bring to the subject is the beauty of a messege board, imo. Yes, we should stay on topic and help Serge sell his guitar. But as I re-read this while thread I do not see anything that deviates from that. Serge describe his guitar. I seconded the opinion how good a guitar it is and interjected the concept of even improving the sound further by muting the treble holes. A few asked what I meant. This lead to discussion on the number of treble holes and Jerome lead us to some interesting variations of hole layouts. But I think this is OK. I agree that we should respect Serge's attempt to sell his guitar and we should atay on topic. SO, SOMEBODY PLEASE BUY THIS GUITAR. IT IS A GREAT INSTRUMENT PRICED FAR BELOW IT'S VALUE. Dave

I've played the supershallow bowl Adamii and can attest that they have much more tone than you would normally associate with a ssb. And the price he is asking is a steal. Now, having made the pitch, let me say that I agree with Dave. Posts tend to go where they go. I wouldn't be worried about it. If Serge wants to bring it back, he can. Besides, if you want disrespectful, you should see my emails back and forth with Serge ("Lem"). Don't worry. The right person's going to read this thread and snap up Serge's guitar. The rest of us will just enjoy the thread and maybe learn something.

I've got repect for everybody and i sincerly want to apologize to sergio if my posts disturb his sale. I'm just sure about one thing. The Adamas II is really a great instrument. I own one model and it's the greatest guitar i've ever owned!! So, if someone still hesitate to buy Sergio's beauty, you don't have to!! You will never regret. To be the owner of an Adamas and to hold it in your arms is really a great and special emotion. For me, it's always the same emotion each day!! You MUST buy this guitar!!! Jérôme

Jerome, It would be very interesting to us here if you could find out if Marcel's slotheads are still with the family or where they have wandered off to. He had some early prototypes and many custom pieces and also at least one between #27 and 60(these are the ones I'm interested in you finding out about if you can) Now back to our regular program and won't somebody buy Serge's great guitar????
