If you remember, we had a guy at church join the band. He played a Taylor 314ce, with the Expression system preamp. The more I listened to it, the more I liked it and realized that acoustically and plugged in, it was very superior to my guitars. To make a long story short, I traded him my 1537 and my 1773LX for his guitar. Here's a pic of me from last Sunday I've since decided that I'd get all Taylors, and earlier this week, I traded my OFC slothead for a much nicer Taylor, the koa body, spurce top K14 Next week, I'll post what Ovations I still have up for sale. I guess that it wouldn't be appropriate for me to keep posting here. Maybe I'll mosey over to the AGF and start posting there. Anyway, I'm surprised that more of you guys can't see the superiority of Taylors over Ovations.........

I could tell right away he was hooked ... especially as he told me over dinner about the 314 he was now playing at his church. He's probably just going through a phase and will come back to his Ovations, but for now there are several of us planning an intervention for later on in the week.

I know that some of the first 9999 contained some pearls of wisdom. We'll have to go back and asterisk all those. He's obviously on some steroids that affects his hearing.
