As some of you may know i have been contemplating selling my 1537 Elite, due to a hand injury. The time has come.I will try and post pictures very soon.I think it's safe to say that this is as nice example as you could find,no scratches, very, very minor dings(nothing that can be seen from 3ft away,no lifting or cracking.I will only be selling this at the OFC,if it dosnt sell then it will stay with me.Offers

If anyone needs convincing what a great guitar the 1537 is, send them my way. I love mine and would recommend it to anybody. Good luck!

I need another one too... I screwed up the first one sanding the gloss off the neck.
With all the nerve damage on my right side, I should have known that I'd have problems controlling the beltsander.

LTPR,
Please don't take a wonderful guitar that was made and built for Righties only and desicrate it by changing it over to an evil lefty

Dolbyscat,

Beat off the vultures!

All kidding aside... don't give up your 1537 just yet.
If the world won't adapt to you, you adapt to it.
I've found that playing Jeff Healey style gets me past some playing challenges, but now I have to teach myself to fret “upside-down”.

Thanks to members who have e-mailed.I will have pictures to post soon. Then i'll have to figure how to post them.I've had one offer so far,and three inquiries as to price.I won't divulge the offer unless the member is in agreement.I'm not sure what the etiquette is in regard to this.

Dolbyscat,

Are you planning a silent auction here or will you be stating an asking price?

Noah,no it was not my intention to start a silent auction, only to offer my guitar to OFC members.I figured everybody here knows the value of these guitars and they certainly know what they can afford, but now in retrospect i should have stated a price.Should i now, considering someone has made an offer???I'm sorry but i'm really ignorant regarding this matter.Advice please as to how i should approach this,my intentions are sincere and i have no wish to upset any of my fellow members. John.. One offer of $1000 US.

John, It was just a question. Nothing wrong with taking offers. Get pictures out in your gallery, give it a few days, and see what offers it brings in. $1000 is a good start.

Yes, $1000 is a good opening offer. I have seen then recently in the $900 - 1200 range and in reality the guitar is worth twice that much.

I look forward to the pics.

Standingovation,

Please forgive me as you are ABSOLUTELY correct in that you were the first to POST "LTPR" as my name and thereby hold all exclusive copyrights! I am not worthy of your kindness, but I do appreciate you granting me permission to use this signature and saving me some keystrokes!! My hands will not fatigue as quickly now thereby giving me more quality practice time on my Adamas. Thanks Dave -- you also are THE MAN!!

I've copywritten quite a few of them. Ask Cliff about "CTAH". Then of course, there's Al "JAIWSG". I could go on and on, but THEY know who they are. Dave
