Noticed that earlier, Dave. Didn't you custom order that? Why the change of heart?

This is a standard model. The custom order is on the way, that's why I need to move this one. Dave

This Custom isn't custom, it's a standard custom, the custom custom must be custom ordered.

Hey Dave...does this guitar have a carved bridge? I can't quite tell from the pics.

No carved bridge. They stopped doing those standard on custom legends some time ago. Dave

That's a shame. It's one of the things that set it apart from the other models, along with the inlay. I wonder why they decided to stop doing the carved bridge thing (and the truss rod covers). With the laser routers they have nowadays, they could really make them look even sharper.

On my 6759 (2000) - no carved bridge; on the 6759 (2002), it had a carved bridge.

Guess they can't make up their mind

They did a great job on the 2004 30th Anniv CL ;)

Don't sell all your guitars before I come visit. You have to have something to try to convince my wife that I need. (Guitars only, please. She knows all the other stuff I need.)

Relax Mark. You have crossed the 1k post threshold so you should know very well by now that no guitar leaves my place without a darn good replacement plan. The CL Contour is one of Ovations absolute best, so you can only imagine how nice the replacement might be? Could be cutting it close to have in time for your visit, but don't worry there's a few ukuleles around that'll impress your wife for sure. Dave

I hope she's not impressed with ukes, but I could see,--"Oooh, they're like these cute little guitars and you don't have to worry about so many strings." Just tell her what they cost and she'll run away.

:) Thanks, Dave

I am very excited to give this great guitar a good home. It's very cool to see some good friendships here who share the love of music and sweet guitars.

Dee, you're gonna be happy with this guitar. Dave may be a pervert and an ax murderer, but he really takes care of his guitars and if he says they are perfect, count on it. And this guitar is one of Ovation's finest. Great sound, feel, and look. You're getting a great instrument.

Bottom line, Pokeypup, always wash your hands before you touch this guitar.
