I have played a few of these in stores. Hard to find any objections with them. Very nice.

STOP IT, Al !

If you could kindly e-mail my husband and convince him that we DO NOT, need a new fence, I can easily take it from there. :D

I would love to buy a deep bowl custom elite 12 string in CCB.

I saw a seller on E-bay who seems to have a lot of cheap new Ovations up for auction but is not a dealer... Can someone please pm me the dirt on that.

Thanks, Pokey

I'm looking for a 12-string now to replace an 1869 custom legend that was stolen last year. I'm seriously considering the custom 12 elite/adamas that Standingovation has posted, but want to see all my options. Do you have pics/info on the lx 12 you mentioned?

I think you've misunderstood Pokey. She wants the guitar for herself! I agree with her. People don't really need fences anymore anyway. They just keep the kids from running away.

Great point, Jim. That fence keeps them coming to the back door and wanting in.

I'm going to have to seriously, think of a new reason why I need to get a new 12-string. Can you men here, please start a thread of excuses or at least post what you did to make your spouse talk to you again. ;)

Praise Band tip from your Uncle Woody #17:

Diversification is the justification for having several flavors of instruments. An acoustic 12 string, six string, mando or papoose is basic. An electric 12 and 6 are required. Old Hyms and standards done in new ways are like "singing a new song".

Tip #18 - Loaning said instruments to other Band Members is Mentoring. It also means they aren't seen accumulating at your house!

Go with God, buy from Al my brother.
