Joined: July 2005 Posts: 176 | Okay, so I'm Jonesin' for the 2006 collectors. I... must.... have... it. With that in mind I'm selling off every other O I have. I'll get the list together and post it here, but it includes the shiny bowl six that was my first ovation '68 deluxe balladeer, (still in great shape) $300*, the CE-768, and two "specials" I happened upon. Special one is a pretty good condition deep bowl case for $75. I'll include the beat up, though extremely playable pacemaker 12 that I got in it. It's got a couple of varnish cracks and the bowl was reglued to the top on the lower bout. It's also missing some binding. Still plays great. Two is an Ultra GS with humbucker, single, single. One knob is replaced with fender and it's got two 70's era stickers on the guitar, one the ecology flag and one bob marley. It needs it's pots cleaned but it seems to work fine apart from that. $125 with case. I'll get pics and more descriptions of the first two items tomorrow. You can email me at nick at guitarnoise dot com *forgot the case, I paid $75 for it, let's call it $350 with the case. I posted this below, just wanted to call you attention to the change. Sorry for any confusion.

I'd like to talk to you about buying back the '68 Deluxe Balladeer. When I sold it to you last year, I was in kind of a desparate financial situation and was liquidating a bunch of my O's. I've since had more than my share of regrets about letting that one go. I'd be much obliged if you'd shoot me an email. Thanks...

That's the $300 I paid and $50 for the case, $25 less than I paid. The Ultra, note the lovely replacement volume knob. Anything that looks like a scratch is sticker residue. I got off most of it, but heck for $125 that's as much effort as I could muster. No other scratches. Some of the screw heads are a little rusty and one of the pickups has a non-original screw. It's all original apart from that as far as I can tell, it even has the original whammy bar I think. The balladeer and case. No cracks anywhere.

I am sure even mine will be funny to me in a while too. What was it Dr. Evil said in that Austin Powers movie.... "How hard is it to get some Frikin Lazers"! Randy

The saddle is out and I'll ship the original, and a vintage package that has a new saddle and shims. Picture of the missing binding Overall guitar, not the case it ships in. One of the surface cracks, soundhole and label

The only issue is it has an approx. one inch varnish crack on the lower bout by the end pin. It was stabilized before I got it. It hasn't changed since. Tony is the one who chatted with Mothership and stabilized the varnish crack. A good job me thinks. That's the only thing stopping this one from being mint. Well there is the spot where I drooled on it when I first opened the case, but that's to be expected. $725
