Plays well and has no other issues that I could see. I didn't check the electronics on it. I have offered it to a friend at work who fell in love with mine. If he doesn't want it, I'll offer it up to the OFC. Let me know if you're interested. I have no pics, since I haven't bought it yet, but I don't want this one to disappear.

I think they are all finish cracks, one under the strings and the other two in the lower bout. None followed the grain, so I assume they don't go into the wood, but one was a little dark. That usually tells me it was wide enough to get some dirt in it. From 5 feet away you can't see any of them.

It's interesting that I've been driving by this place for years and never went in until today. They had a bunch of nice guitars and didn't know how special the 1537 is.

But then, the last time he got close to buying one, he was broke because he bought an xbox or something. I told him that I hoped getting up to the next level on a video game was worth giving up on a 1537.

It's beat up a little, some cracks, dings, electronics don't work, etc. But I figured it would be a great beater guitar. Of course I need it like a third nipple ... so if anyone wants it go ahead and bid. There's no reserve. Dave

It can be done from a distance and its more effective to stay inside your areas of accomplishment! Avoid email though, way too traceable. Posting in a chatroom may still be Ok. Dave, I note that he didn't say he changed the battery!

If he metered the jack pins correctly and it was dead, then he's probably right that the pu is shot. I'm only interested in the guitar as an acoustic only, so no big deal.
