It will be interesting to see what they bring. As I recall the long neck 12 last year was in the high teens? Anyone remember what it finally went for?

More than I had! I think $2500.

This will be another milestone.

Interesting that the current high bidder on both of them has a feedback score of 5 and hasn't bought anything on Ebay except video games and sport clothes.

Depends. How overpriced, and how many payments can I make?

It would probably be cheaper to buy Adrian's leg.

I saw the longneck and thought "That's what I've always been looking for!"

I knew I couldn't afford it, but I placed a few bids just for the narrative value.

Since I'm a Legghead, I received an email last week telling me that these guitars would be for sale.

After reading the description on the D-longneck I still can't tell if this guitar is prototype Number 1. Does anyone else read this differently than me?

Thanks, Stephen!

And to be honest... I actually don't know who Adrian Legg even is. Time to go look.

There were four made so if this is actually #1 is hard to tell. It certainly is one of the four.

ToddG, you should go to Spotlight Music and check out the book Mandolin, it's very cool.

Is this correct?

The guitars were made in the USA but currently reside in the UK.

Since they would be shipping back to the country of origin, would they be exempt from taxes/duties, etc?

It's like buying a Bentley. If you can afford the car you're not going to be worried about the taxes. Whoever buys Leggs guitars won't blink twice at the cost. Dave

Yes, coming back into the country there's no tax, just another form to be filled out to avoid it.
So far as I know this is the only one in England.

Bill, does that mean you will sell yours for 2 grand? In which case, call me! It will look really good next to the Bean

I'm betting $2500.

The only one I have left now is the silver one which was the 5th one made, and the black 12 string. You could probably special order one from the factory for what I'd sell it to you for so I'd suggest that avenue. That way you get everything exactally how you want it.

Ok, 30 seconds of soapbox, PSD!

Where is the LX Baritone or the Adamas with ANS Neck Baritone that we know could be done?

Or is this a miniscule flavor of GAS?

That was Loraine's closet you must have been wandering around in again! And I am not a lumberjack!

Looks like 2500 might be the right guess.
