Yes, it is. I am the owner and just found out about this site from MWoody. Other than the pickup it is in remarkable condition. If you are local (Chimacum, WA, near Port Townsend) you are welcome to come take a look at it.

I saw that one. Looks nice. Hope that one of the OFC who is still lusting after a 1537 can pick this one up. Waskel really needs it, but I bet he's saving for Al's special Koa.

This one looks pretty nice Scott.

A new pickup should be pretty easy to obtain, I would think. I'm not so sure it would be easy to fix the current one.

Good luck, Blues. You've been in that market for a long time.

Good Luck Blues! I'll take a shot if the price looks right...but no sense getting into a bidding war with you!

Seller has updated the description. Looks to have some new frets and some wear on the fretboard that was previously undisclosed. Kinda refreshing that a seller is this upfront and honest given the standard fare on the Bay.

Way to be Gerry!

I would bet you could order a new pickup from the mothership as these pickups seem to be used in some of the RI's and are probably compatible. It is a simple matter to swap them out. When you restring, just push up on the wire and the pickup, shims and everything pop right out (at least they do on mine.) However, I don't remember if the hook up to the controls is a plug and play or requires soldering. Didn't look that close (I was only removing some shims).

Looks like Gregory from Sounds of Praise Music won this one.

Price seemed a little high to me, considering the issues that the guitar had.

might be just the saddle...a new pre-amp is fairly expensive, if available.

They were walnut for the first 2 years of production. Then they went to rosewood.

Hey Guys ... You called this a "Sunburst" what's the difference between this and the "Tocaccoburst"?
