Kaman Telematic "Partacaster" (2006, NM) Thin-line Tele style guitar built by Bill Kaman. Spalted Alder top on Swamp Ash body (body finished by Warmoth); single F-hole; Birdseye Maple neck and peghead with nitrocellulose lacquer finish (finished by Kaman); dark stain on the neck; Rosewood fretboard; nickel Kluson vintage style machines; volume/tone knobs; 3-way switch; rear pickup is a Duncan Tele; front pickup is a Duncan Phat Cat; cool player for the money if the full-bodied neck suits you. The big neck makes for great sustain, to be sure. Nice. OHSC $595

Beautiful guitar, especially for the price!

So what's the story? Is this a proto, one of a kind, project...?

Expiring minds want to know! ;)

Leo Fender tried something like this after he sold out to CBS based on his erroneous belief that he was dying of cancer. He couldn't play and didn't like to sell, but he was a genuius at tinkering. However, his post-Fender generation models were never this pretty.

Just something to keep busy and it was taking up space. My players are the all maple and all koa teles. It's a pretty guitar and has a neck I like. The Weissenborn on the list is mine too. That's a killer guitar. Nice Koa there.

Bill, does this one (Telematic) have an 'Ovation' feel to the neck?

That's a very reasonable price for the Weissenborn.

It's a 1 3/4 fatback shape. Check out the Warmoth site, at a place there they show all the shapes. It feels like a big Fender.

That's a Weissenborn 1. I'm keeping the style 4.
The National Islander on Cotten's list is a nice one too. So many guitars, so little space.....

Not necessarily ...

Dave\'s Ukes

Look 2/3 way down the page. Or heck, go all the way down and see the Banjo-Uke.

Sadly, both the Reso- and the Banjo- ukes played havoc with the cats hearing so I had to get rid of them.

It's Internet stalking but I think it's legal.

I know I freeked out a couple of people that gave me directions to their house. When I emailed back a picture of their roof from the Google search map. Its a great big small world.

If you Google up a Golf Course it can reveal a few things.
