I want to build a little suspense here! Over the next couple of days I want to offer up some Ovation related trinkets which can be bid on. The outcome of this is to spend the funds gathered on a Christmas Gift for a certain OFC Member.

They don't know it's them. Some have some clues but won't let on (RIGHT GUYS!). No, it's not my Latte fund...

Just trust me and bid generously. Feel free to email, IM or post your bid. Minimal harassment within the Slipkid Manifesto is encouraged! Competition is greatly encouraged!

And have fun.

Stay tuned...

Careful with that end Jason... it may be loaded!

Here we go...

First up is a solid Ebony Key Fob with Mother of Pearl inlaid Ovation Logo. These were gifts from the Factory to touring Dealers some years ago.

Be the envy of all!

Jason, That is a gracious bid and knowing of Woody, the money is for a good cause.

What Woody isn't telling you, is that this key fob is the size of a standard headstock. It was used at the Factory so the key to the restroom didn't get lost.

$30.00... Jason, you must really want it!

Ok Woody... if you sell it to Jason @ his $30 bid, I'll match the amount for your Friend's Christmas Gift Fund. This way, we get to move on and see your next item. Hurry up and decide before the eggnog wears off... this is a fifteen minute offer.

please do not post bids here. we are not an auction site and it could make complications for us.
If you want to run an auction do it on e bay or privately on your own web page or via e mail.

there are very specific rules and regulations regarding auctions and I although I think it is a great idea I do not want to spend the holidays in jail because of some violation of interstate commerce.

Yes Al, christmas in the clink would be a drag. But look on the bright side - there's probably not any construction going on ...

BTW - Both Noah and Dave - those were some of the best comebacks I've heard on this board in a long time!

Jason gets the Ebony Fob!

Stay tuned until I get it cleared with Ed McMahon. :p Lets let the rest of the world wake up.

Thank you Al.
Sorry if I stirred your morning coffee.

Next is a small collection of Ovation Factory Tour Goodies with a little Local Tacoma Factory thrown in:

Four each 2004 and one 2006 Tour Coasters with a Tin featuring a gold Ovation Logo. Supplementing are two Tacoma Guitar coasters.

These are laser etched onto Spruce and Mahogany respectively.

A must for the true Collector!

Now let me go clean out my Profile so you all can IM me!
