It's done.
Whew. After 10 months of early mornings bleary eyed in front of my monitor, it's finally finished.

...a beautiful dvd sleeve.

Cliff, is that so as in "so you finally got it done", or so as in "so what?".

This turned out to be a 2 disk set. Just too much to fit on 1.

Price is $10 shipped in US, paypal, check or money order.
PM or email me for address.

Proceeds beyond costs will go to OFC support.

Oppss......I sent the money to the Aboy email. It showed you registered (unlike the Waskel) so I hope that is ok (since it is already done!) :D

Yeah, it worked Stephen... forgot I had that one, usually just use it for buying small stuff.

Thanks!

Just a disclaimer -
Though the sleeve came out great, these disks DO NOT have labels, so please don't think yours were forgotten.
I don't have a disk printer and I refuse to put sticky labels on DVD's anymore - it can cause fatal damage to a DVD player, they get much hotter and spin faster than CD players and the adhesive melts, the label slides... new DVD player time.

waskel,
a few weeks ago i got one of those lightscribe dual layer dvd burners off of eBay ($40.00), you know, the kind that also burns the label. finally picked up some appropriate discs the other day but have not burned any yet.

by the way, that is awesome work you did on the sleeve. excellent design!

I've seen those, Randy, but I just bought this burner a couple months ago. Litescribe media costs more, too. Who looks at the label of a DVD anyway?

I picked up an inkjet printer for cd/dvd's It requires special CD's that you can write/print on, but they are only a few pennies more than normal ones. The sad thing is, that the printer is still in the unopened box.... for a year now. :(

Is that the Epson R260, Miles? I've seen those, but read good and bad about them. I've had Epson inkjets before, and had no desire to get another. Their consumable cost was unacceptable.

Ditto what waskel says. I tried to go with epson. Ink usage was easily 2x compared to canon or HP. Never again. Dave

Not to belabor the point (because I really think the ability to print on disks is cool) but the last Epson I had really ticked me off. If any of the cartridges ran dry (according to the printer) it wouldn't let me print at all. If the color ran out, I couldn't even print a text page with black. That to me is unacceptable.
On top of that, there are studies that show Epson printers report the cartridges empty with up to 17% of the ink remaining.

I have a couple of HPs here and you can go on printing for a long time after the printer reports the cartridges as empty.

Ref: the 17% thing..
I was notified that I was part of a class action suit against Epson.
I filled out the form and once the lawyers are all done I'll get a $100 certificate for purchase of ink cartridges.
