It had a fret job, white and it sounds good for an ovation the main body was split in half and repaired by a professional. The color is white and i have a Gibson case. The guitar plays great but my fingers are to big for the uper frets. The electronics still works great.I would like to buy a gibson standard with bigger frets. Thanks bfg

Maybe not the best sales pitch for the Ovation Fanclub, but if anyone is interested, you'll find them here.

That is one of the early examples.

The best way to find out what its worth to the world right now is to post it on Ebay with a reserve you can live with but start at $1 for the starting price. The highest bid - that's your value.

I'll give you $200 so you don't have to listen to something that sounds good for an Ovation.

Is that like having a nice tan for a Floridian?

I've been watching them on e-bay.
One like this went for $1250.00 about a month ago.
Then again... I've seen others go for half that.
What is the serial number???

That works for me! I just wanted to know cause I feel that eBay's the fairest way to see, ask questions and bid on an item. So if it was going up for auction I would've watched it and bid if it was going to be in my price range. Thanks! Michael

that looks like a chipboard case. looks like the $50.00 one that came with my tacoma....as for the price, ebay would give you a pretty damn good idea of what its worth...just my opinion.....jason

Mentoring could be a good thing Glenn. You might get to play his Gibson and then you'd end up selling us your old crummy vash'ins.

Seriously, the gathering of Ovation fans can do a lot to teach, educate and cause GAS pains.

Al's Les Paul studio peed all over itself when it heard and saw the Vipertron.... I really like the way those alnico filtertrons sound...

about the breadwinner... how much you looking for? I'd possibly like to take a drive down to check it out if you want a fair price for it.

we'll just add it to the project pile.

we might get it to sound ok... but it's just an Ovation :p

Glenn
