There is NOTHING like an Adamas 1 12-string. And this one was built new in 2005 with many custom features. The sound is just amazing. Easily the loudest, yet most refined guitar I have ever heard. The set up and playability would rival most electrics. I could go on and on, but you just won't find a better 12-string so don't waste your time looking. In addition to the custom top color, this guitar was built with extra sparkle in the bowl paint. Very much like the slothead guitars. But by far the best aspect of this instrument is the OP-Pro electronics w/ XLR output. This takes the tone monster and makes it a real gigging guitar. The guitar was custom ordered new in 2005 by an OFC member and I aquired it from him last year. Easily the best 12-string I ever played, but sadly it gets little use. Those who followed my aquisition of this fine instrument will recognoize that I am selling it for less than I paid. Absolute spotless new condition with perfect hard shell case. More photos and details can be found HERE $2100. Delivered to your door FedEx in the 48 States. Email or PM me if interested or if you have questions. Dave

Somebody should REALLY "jump" on this one. (The only thing I don't like are those gay, "outtie" eppauletes . . .) I'm taking bets on exactly when the screen name is gonna change to "DaveCollings".

I'm not sure it would sound any better. The Collings arrived yesterday with a big note on the box saying "No Martins Were Sacrificed In The Aquisition Of This Guitar." Dave

Several people have asked if my other 12's are for sale. NO. But to make a small plug here - I do believe there are a couple of U681-12's still available new. They are AMAZING guitars. I encourage anyone looking for a top end 12-string to check them out. Dave

(i may just have to custom order one similar. perhaps a UTE style with those colors?) enjoy it immensely!!

The guitar arrived safely, the check cleared, seems everything worked out just fine. Except that I miss the guitar. Oh well. You can't keep them all. I hope the buyer will post pics or something, but as far as I know they have never posted. Dave
