This may be one of the most collectible Ovations except for an original Adamas. Nice guitar for a 'no reserve' auction. The add says it's an original case. I didn't know they provided black cases in 1984.

I should probably just grab the Adamas and head to the gulfcoast for a few days.. Good Luck to All.. one of you is gonna be happy with it I'm sure. Glenn

I'm sad to have to sell a guitar this unique (pitiful financial situation), but hopefully the timing is right for one of you enthusiasts to give her a good home. I really can't say too much about the history of the guitar. The previous - and original - owner told me it saw very little playing time during the last years of his ownership, and that's pretty much the case with me, too. I played it a lot when I first got it some 8 years ago, and then it just sat in my office looking nice for several years as I worked way too much. Good luck bidding, and hopefully I'll be back again when finances improve! Joe

This happens when someone is in financial straights for a time and needs cash. There's sort of a gentlemans' agreement that, when the seller gets back on his feet, he buys it back. Of course, if you've fallen out of love with the guitar, best to just sell it. Steve Chapman had a good experience with this. Got his beautiful blue 12 string Legend back in a year or so. Just a thought. John <>{

I've been thinking about a 12 string for sometime now, but I've been playing too much electric lately to pursue one. But the GAS was starting to get to me on this one. Somebody's gonna get a nice one here.

Very pretty and I am sure will be great to play. Glad we all helped you get the $$$ you needed Joe. Dont be a stranger!
