Mine served as my primary gigging guitar for 20 years and still plays and sounds great, so I am particularly sentimental about this model. Could be the flash, but the finish looks a bit lighter than most. Nonetheless, I may have to watch this one. |

Location: Phoenix AZ | It's the model John used and is pictured prominently on the cover of his "acoustic" CD. Ovation made a reissue a few years ago (you can read about it on my website). I dubbed it the JL3 (John Lennon Legend Limited). The one on ebay is the original model. |

Location: SoCal | I'd buy this guitar if I had the money right now. An almost pristine A braced, non K-bar Legend? It should sound wonderful. As to the action being high, the pics show that the saddle is pretty high. Pull out a shim or two and it should be perfect.
With money down on the OFC'er, my guitar buying is going to be very very limited for the next year or so. |

I also have a bonus room above the 1200 square foot garage and 3 empty bedrooms. 2 of us live there. My wife thinks we need a smaller house, but I think I just need more guitars.
As far as the blue 2 knobber, the OFC guitar will have to qualify. |
