I played mine last night at a jam where most people were playing D-28's, one on a Gibson, one on a Santa Cruz (nice guitar but no real balls), and to be honest, I wouldn't have traded my 1627 for any of them. Somebody should buy this one. The buy it now is a steal.

The 1127 has the old VT-10 bracing as well as heavier finish on the top. It also has the old style truss rod. The reissue has an A braced top, thiner finish, new electronics, and, I think, the ANS neck system. A much better instrument than the old 1127/1627's....

Looks like I've been out bid for now anyway. This one looks a little worn, but at the right price was headed to the CT for the treatment. I'd love to jump on the re-issue, but I'm regulated to bottom feeder for a long time.

Don't take what's in the Ovation archives as gospel. There are a lot of mistakes in it. 1627 on the \'bay If this is it, it's got the VT bracing.
