[Don't beat-me-up for this :eek: ] How were those guitars? My real question is, What are they underneath the drums & flags? [During the "Boston 200" days, you could slap a Betsy Ross on anything and double the price!]

Way cool graphics... | ||

Assuming this guitar is half-way between a Legend and Custom Legend (I think the Patriot has a AAA top, so should sound excellent?); well a Legend here lists at £1299; a CL at £1699. At the current rate of exchange that's about 2400 to 3000 of your Colonial Beer Tokens :D . Not quite the asking price, but almost there. Add the extra value and rarity of the Patriot Model and then you're even closer... Can't imagine that many of these made it over here when new in 1976. Wonder why?... ;) Cool graphics Mike? I'd sand them off... :p Just kidding! HW

I was trying to sell #001 for $2000 and had no bites so it went back to the factory and is part of that collection now, where it should be. It's the first limited edition/collectrors type guitar Ovation did. Cliff really likes it, he's just being disagreeable today. I have number 76 and that is still available and for a very reasonable 3 figure number. Now if I can just remember where it is.......
