No, I'm not having problems with my prostate!
I am passing on several of my treasures, for several reasons. Only a few relevant to my musical expertise.
I'm parting with the 1127-4, 1537, Josh White, 1624-4, & Regal RC-2. The auctions will begin @ 7:00 PM tonight. I'm not giving them away, and if the starting bid is not achieved, oh well. They will run for a week.
If any of you are interested, I suppose I could end some of the auctions early.

Andrew, its "madball1111" (4-1's).
Dave, I still have the 1617 (needs parts from Jason), 2 bowls, 2 necks, several excellent sets of spruce & cedar, a headless 1115, & a Celebrity 12-string (needing parts, also) arriving Monday.
I also have an ersatz Tele POS, and a short-scale tenor banjo. There, I'm out of the closet now! No ukes, though! Tried 'em, but soprano is too small. The baritone wasn't bad, though!

All nice guitars and priced fairly given condition and demand. Somebody do something before I'm forced to move on the GC. I know winter is along way off, but it will take me that long to get out of the doghouse if I do something impulsive.

(It's a shame there is not a 12 string in the group)

Andrew,
When you search Ebay for Ovations just hit the "nearest to you" sort.

His vernacular is unmistakable...

The 12-string needs a nut, saddle, saddle & preamp/pickup. Have the small stuff, and shopping for the electronics. Apparently, the orifice was enlarged for an Artec, or Belcat, or something other-than-Ovation. I may be fabricating some decorative "hatchcovers", in the interim.
BTW, heard from Jason, workin' mids, and using a Blackberry. Kid's got a great work ethic!

Arrgh! I'd totally grab that 1537 now, but I'm WAY over budget as it is...curse lousy timing and lack of funding!

If I bring home another guitar right now, I'll be sleeping in an Ovation case...

Yeah, probably closed, & locked!
Some of this clearance originates, certainly, from an external-locus-of-control paradigm.
Supportive, not indulgent.

I'd guess the 1537.

Good Grab!

(and in the fabled 'burst finish too!)

Dang Chris, wish I'd known about this frenzy before I picked up 3 cheapie beater guitars recently. I might have been able to get one of your wider nut versions. Hope the last 3 go for good money. Sounds like you have enough Ovation guitars and parts to open your own store!

Interestingly enough, not a single bid on the Josh White, Connolly (1127-4), or Country Artist. I thought they were priced very fairly, too. Oh well, relisted them for another cycle. See if I get any bites this time.

No sale. Actually, I'm somewhat relieved, and educated. I will be hanging on to Connolly, Ol'Josh, & Chet awhile longer, it would appear.
Marilyn is traveling sometime in the next few weeks.
Guess I'm going to be doing some music room construction.
Cheers!
