Yes the second part of the koa guitars are starting to arrive.
these are the 14 fret to the body sisters of the 12 fret gutiars that were originally custom ordered by Lost Art vintage.

These guitars are numbered 1/1 - 1/12 and the labels are signed by Darren Wallace.

If you are not a 12 fret guy these are the guitars for you.
they have the same specs as the 12 fret except that these come with the 5 piece neck.

if interested e me alpep@lostartvintage dot com

there are a couple of the 12 fret guitars also still available

This model is just as nice a looker as the 12 fretters. The 12 fretters are known for their mellow midrange tone. Will this change on the 14 fretter? Koa certainly provides a lot of eye candy.

Just got off the phone with Al (who "twisted my arm" on ANOTHER "matter") and complimented him on the execution of these.
VERY Nice!
I hope they sell well.

Cliff - I agree with you 100%. The OFC guitar, the KOA guitar, the U681 12 string, ... Al has done some very cool things for his customers. AND HE NEVER CLOSES !!!

While I would PREFER the 12-fret model, the 14-fretter IS a sweet-lookin' guitar! . . .

Damn Cliff.....now that you have changed your sig, the reverse numbers I have been using on the Tak board lose all of their evil significance!

I love my 12'er (shut up cliff) and I am a sucker for 12 fret guitars. But I must say the 5 piece neck with ebony on the 14'er is VERY NICE!

Al, What a great looking guitar. I think the ebony heads are an excellent choice. I wish I could have one more guitar.

I have had several request to reveal which s/n's are available. I have been rather busy with the turkey day stuff and then had to attend a viewing so my time has been limited. I promise to get to it in the next couple of days and post the numbers.

Man I am not nuts about the new shaped sound hole thing but this guitar makes this look good! 14 frets is more my style too. Al your killin me, I am still trying to gather the cash for a baritone custom but can't seem to get past the first half before something comes up and I need to use it all every time.

Randy, I sympathise: I have had the same problem (along with a refinance that needs my first born male child)...sad to say but the mortgage industry's in the toilet!
Al, however is not! :D
Very nice stuff Al!

I am finalizing the Deal to receive Serial #1 of the 14 fretters from Al!

I won't need to buy any more guitars after this one!

Right?

Be careful what you say, Mike. It can and will be used against you. I allegedly agreed that the OFC would be my last guitar for 2 or 3 years. I have deleted all written references to that, though, and this message will self destruct in 5 seconds.

Cool, we'll be brothers. I've got #1 of the 12 fretters. These are VERY special guitars. Dave
