And I already have some 2nd row seats for "White Christmas" in December for a surprise Christmas present. But it all balances out because she also looks forward to 3 or 4 Detroit Tiger games and a couple Red Wings games a year.

I'm not sure I could take it 24/7, but that same statement holds true for just about any band. Actually (I'm not just saying this for Brad), maybe one of the few bands I COULD listen to 24/7 if I had to would be the Who. Huge catalog and pretty diverse. Throw in the Daltry and Townshend solo projects and I could do it. Dave

I really like their vocals--clean, clear, smooth and so perfectly blended. That was what I noticed about their music first, before I even knew who they were. (We only get one radio station here at work, and it's one of the ones that never tells you what you're hearing.) I don't think I'd listen to them 24/7, but that's o.k.; they certainly wouldn't listen to me 24/7, either! ;) --Karen

Just a fantastic production. I think we are going to see the movie later this month but after seeing the play, I don't hold very high hopes for the movie. I like Abba but 24/7 might be pushing it!!! Now AIR SUPPLY....Jeff W and I have been lobbying Sirius and XM for that one for quite a while. I think we are getting close!

So EXCUSE ME for posting something interesting about one of my favorite bands. With a few exceptions (Brad, Karen, ...) most of you can't help but pile on the negativism. Thanks a lot guys. Maybe I shouldn't be so good at biting my tongue when you all post about Tommy Oh Cum Emanual and Glen F. Campbell. Dave

Lived in Sweden for 15 years which closely matches with this Swedish band's halcyon days. Like them or not, they influenced beyond music and beyond Europe. In Australia, movies were made with close connection to ABBA music - The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert; and Muriel's Wedding. They sang when the Swedish King married his Queen-to-be and that's when the song Dancing Queen was released. Mamma Mia is not their first musical. They also had another musical (perhaps more) called Chess where one of my favorite songs is from, the Anthem. Here is a link http://kr.youtube.com/watch?v=cN5Z2TNLlEU The song is sang by Tommy Körberg, one of Sweden's best singers for the pasat 40 years. If he was American, he would have been a household name like Elvis Presley. Attached YouTube version is interesting for anyone who plays classical guitar because it is a live performance from Berwaldshallen, a concert hall in Stockholm, Sweden. It is unique because the sound is evenly distributed across the hall through a wooden sound box (Dave, you would love this) created by the Swedish luthier Georg Bolin, a carpenter turned luthier. He is best known for his 11-stringed guitar played by Swedish classical guitarist Göran Söllscher. http://web.telia.com/~u13704017/LatStaProduction/Artiklar/BolinAltg... http://kr.youtube.com/watch?v=9-MnSonmDPo
