Here is another of my collection that I am going to let go of...This 12 rocks! fantastic sound, near mint w/ no cracks and no dings...original case! Mothership repaired the strap buttons and aligned the tuners: its on of the early ones and its fabulous: look at the grain in the top! I have another and those who know me know how much I value the 1758's: best wood topped 12 ever! Here is your chance to by one with no issues for a great price. First the pic's:

(reflections only in the top of the deck)

I am offereing it this week until Sunday to OFC members for $550 + Priority Shipping, cased and boxed to your door! PM or Email me pronto! On Sunday, it goes to the Bay with a higher price.
Best wishes!

WOW!!!

Great Price!! these ARE the best wood top 12's I've ever played..

my beater(not really beaters but not in that condition) 1758's sold for a couple hundred more than that.

someone's gonna be really happy...

wish I could at that price but I'd be single and homeless if I jumped for it.

And talkiin 'bout inexpensive!

Someone's gonna owe ya BIG TIME.

I would wish you Good Luck, but feel that ya won't need it. Oh well, Good Luck anyhow.

That is a fabulous burst. Reminds me of my 1537.

That is a terrific price. Somebodies gonna snatch that one for a Christmas present.

Mike,

That looks just like mine which was made in 1989. They are a great sounding,(and looking), 12 string.

That is also a really good price. Someone better grab this one. Too good for ebay.

OK, seriously now. You guys need to stop this! I can't stand the GAS pains, between here and another board! :o

Super nice guitar, incredible price. It really needs to stay in the family - we can't let these pre-Fender O's get in the hands of the Philistines.

Thank You!! I can ASSURE you that you will love this Model.... Heck you might even keep this one more than a month :D

really, I do appreciate it..

BTW the custom classical elite arrived.. the head on the neck attachment bolt is sheared off and the neck is floating on the stump.. wonder if I can get an ez-out on it... other than that no problems :( ... waiting on a call from John or Kim now.

Thanks Again Jim... another hour or two, and a look at my bank balance again, and I probably would have bought this.

you're gonna love it.

Yeah, I think I had one of these at one time. I know GGG's is very nice. Same burst. Even though I am not a burst fan, I kinda like the eppies with the burst on this one. And yes,...I may just keep it more than a month. :D

Super get, Jim! And thank you so much for taking the pressure off. I don't think I could have survived another awkward conversation with SWMBO ..."umm, honey, darling, love of my life, I found another guitar...".

If Gway can't put you up we have a spare bedroom here you can hide out in (just bring your guitars). :D ;) :D

I really have to stay away from the "for sale" sections of this and other forums.

OT for this thread(nothing new here right)... but good news... just got off the phone w/JB at Ovation.. the classical custom should be an easy fix, no bolt on this according to him and probably just glue that pushed through the holes on assembly... says it's a dovetailed neck and since it's loose already it makes the repair and reset much easier for them.

keeping my fingers crossed, and will ship it up so they receive when they re-open Jan 2 after holiday shut-down.

congrats on the get Jim..

That's a fine deal, and I'm relieved to read this and find it already sold.

$550 was an absolute unmitigated example of blatant highway robbery!! :) There is no better 12-string for that price on the planet...AND it included a hard-shell case... Incredible!...

Hey Steve, I'm going to be up in your neck of the woods Christmas week in Pigeon Forge visiting GGG. Maybe you could arrange to make a stop by. (I'll have the Elite, the Legend, and the FD with me)
