Thinking about another "O" so one has to go, and this one just doesn't get the play time it should. Beautiful Blueberry hand carved guitar. Over 45 days to produce, completed on 5/28/07. One of the first 50 made and no two are alike. Walnut back and sides, Alaskan Spruce top, jack wood inlay on ebony fret board, hand carved ebony headstock overlay and ebony bridge in "Bat theme". 1 13/16 nut, scale length 25 1/2, lower bout 15 3/4, upper bout 11 3/4, depth 4 1/2-5". Excellent sounding guitar, extremely light, very responsive and percussive. This is a finger-picker’s instrument. The smaller, shallower body is lighter on its feet, and quicker to respond to the subtlest nuance. It is bright and clear, and the greater separation of tones gives the finger-stylist a wider range of expression. No lack of power here, however. The light, rounded body pumps sound very efficiently and the deep waist stabilizes the instrument when played sitting down. This is a very nimble and expressive guitar worthy of the finest finger technique. Has less than 2 hours playing time on it. Comes with original blue arch top case. Check out their website at: http://www.blueberryguitars.com/ $900.00 shipped Conn. US.

TJ that is very unusual.

Jim,

Might want to reconsider selling this one...It is , and will be the only Bat that is made....If these things take off...It might be worth something....Just food for thought.

Thanks Keith, I might just hold on to it. It's a great sounding guitar, I just feel the need to move some now and then. I think I have a problem...

Warming up? If you lived down here, you could open the case right away. I just received my Josh from Tup, and it is spectacular!

You need a matching blue 12 stringer.

that 12 stringer is beautiful, and way out of my league and budget.

Thanks. Hopefully I'll give you more reasons to hate me in the future. I couldn't believe it hadn't sold when I found it on the Washinton D.C. area CL. It had been listed for 2 days at a great price. I kept waiting for someone to post it here or for someone to offer more than it was listed for. Sometimes you get lucky.

...nice Jack!

TJ is jealous, because I was able to talk him out of his 1681...I might even get him paid up one day.

If yours' sounds half as good as mine, then you have a great A. Here's hoping that it sounds as good or better...great find....ENJOY!

it'a 94, Wabbit. tuned it up a few minutes ago and wow, I can't believe the bass it can put out. hopefully I can put some new strings on tomorrow and play it through the amp. then do a comparison with the 1718.

TJ shouldn't be jealous, he sold the 1681 twice. and he's never short on new aquisitions. reminds me of my wife trying to decide which pair of dozens of shoes to wear, only with Jim it's which guitar should he buy today.
