She's absolutely spotless, the only minor flaw is what may be a hairline crack in the truss rod cover of all things! It's been there for years, and you have to get your nose right up to it to see it. I have a spare from Kim Keller, just in case and will put it in the case. The first picture does the best job of showing the beautiful creamy color of the spruce. The others look a little darker because of the macro setting on the camera that I use for close-ups. This instrument sounds great unplugged and is unmatched plugged in! Here are the obligatory specs from Ovation: 6 String Nylon Acoustic / Electric, Mid-depth Cutaway, Solid Spruce top, Scalloped LX bracing, 25 1/4" Scale Length, Deluxe Grade Ebony fret board, Ebony Bridge, Inlaid Tortoise rosette, 1 3/4" Nutwidth, and tuners are Gold w/ Black Buttons. Admittedly, a brand new one might look as clean as this one, but no others will. It comes with its original case in excellent condition as well. Now for the nitty gritty, I'm selling this one under duress, so to mollify my bruised ego, I'm actually going to ask what it's worth; $1100 + shipping. I'll entertain offers, but I can't promise a wealth of wiggle room. If you're jonesing for a nylon sound, chances don't get much better than this one. It's the perfect way to dispose of that ESP check you just got from the IRS! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Second, Patch, you should never sell a guitar because you're feeling tight for bucks. It's never worth it and you'll always regret it (the exception being if the sale brings in $10k or better).....

In the meantime, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. I've still got quite a few great guitars, and this one gets used the least for gigs. (Though it is the one I use the most at home.)

I think they cull out the finest of the tonewood spruce for these - cause the sound - combined with the stunning contrast of the tortoise inlaid binding and rosette against the spruce is impeccable...fencesitters - this is investment grade! You won't be disappointed... Best wishes on your recovery Patch - this too shall pass...

Dang day-job is really getting in the way of my recreation... Did I mention that I have a Birthday coming up this year? :D

The guitar is still for sale, and believe it or not, I now have two of them. So I can make this one a little more tempting. I'll eat the shipping in the continental U.S. Someone make a decent offer please. I'm putting it on eBay tonight, but would rather move it here. Get those PMs moving! ;)
