I am considering letting my 47RI find another home. I first wanted to see if there was any interest. It is in mint condition with case. Serial Number 70...email me at keitharnold@live.com

Wow Keith, are you trying to upset the balance in the universe or what? I know it's out of my league, but I'm sure someone here has the wherewithal.

I've noticed one or two around here are looking for one. This is a very special instrument, I'm sure someone will jump on it if the price is fair.

...if it does sell, I hope you don't regret it later War Eagle

Mine has been on and off the market twice over the last couple months. It doesn't get played since the OFC took over the music room. Superadamas was the last nibble but it didn't pan out, so back in the case for a while...

Isn't this amazing...or should I be surprised?

A guitar that is as close the the original slotheads as possible thirty years later, postings looking for the 47RI, and the result is bottom feeding low-ball offers.

This is like someone going up to Mark (MIB) as he is sitting in his Boxster and saying "I'll give you $2K for your Volkswagen".

You may be better served by just listing it here with a Selling Price . . .

That's cheap! I have an $8.49/day Starbucks habit. Still leaves me about a grand shy at the end of the year tho.

That's a beautiful guitar, and one of my personal "dream guitars", and it's a great price. Wish it was within my means.

Not an unreasonable price for a rare, limited, and mostly unavailable guitar that sounds terrific.

TJ, this might be a good one for you to break that 2K barrier on!

Hang in there War Eagle, the lottery here has jackpotted to $50,000,000 tonight. If I win that, I'll message you tomorrow (after I sober up).

My wife doesn't even buy tickets until it gets over $100 million. Why even bother with anything less? At least we've saved a bunch on lottery tickets.

If I had that rule, I'd never buy lottery tickets. This is about as big as it gets here. I think I'd be comfortable with $50 mil. Anymore than that and you start buying stupid things like helicopters.

Sorry, War Eagle, about preempting your thread, but I just thought of my lottery story.
One of the first big winners was a young single blonde from Boise. Her first installment from the $83 million went to a red Porsche. It was parked in front of the gym I was going to at the time and all the guys were looking at it as I walked in. One of them asked if I saw it and I said, "Yeah, I've got one of those, just older." When he said I should have seen the blonde that got out of it, I said, "Yeah, I've got one of those, just older."
