Location: Tidal Mudflats of Virginia		Time to move out some of the unplayed instruments since the OFC Wideneck has become my main acoustic six-gun player. I'll have more pictures posted in my OFC photo album & PicasaWeb later this afternoon.

1187-247 - Purchased new from Lost Vintage Arts May 2006. Serial #9, 9158-0 case. $4,500 shipped lower 48.

#47 Reissue Number 009
1187-247

U681T - Puchased new Dec 2005 for $1,900 OP-PRO, 9158-0 case. Serial number 21150, right in middle of limited run of 100. Asking $1,400 OBO shipped lower 48.



1778T-RF (Red Flame) LX model - Purchased new Oct 2005 for $1,750 OP-PRO, this is the full bowl painted model, black face headstock, not the cheaper model with black bowl paint and OP-30. Absolutely spotless and has very little play on the frets. 8158-0 case. Serial number 596381. Asking $1,200 OBO shipped lower 48.

1537-5 (rare black) - Purchased in Jan 2006 from OFC member Frank10101 for $700. According to the serial number 302670, it was the very first Elite guitar made for 1984. Has four finish cracks below the bridge where bridge had started to lift, previous owner had a luither add two more bridge anchor screws and the bridge looks professionally done. Has another finish crack under strings running part way from bridge towards fretboard. None of the cracks have grown since I've had it. Missing one marker on volume knob, tried to get a replacement but they are not made anymore. This thing is a thumper and needs to be played. Great chance to get a 1537 for a low price. 8158-0 case. Asking $600 OBO shipped lower 48.

Seems like most don't like the lights but love the mediums.....at least I do ;)

Location: Blue Ridge Mountains		I'm with Tim in this one...I tried the set I bought at Amelia...Blue set...took them off within two weeks as they were shedding the "blue" all over the guitar...I didn't care for the tone either...YMMV

I just reordered my favorites: Elixir Phos. Bronze Custom Lite Nano's: Strings and Beyond have a great sale going on: buy two sets and get a set of Elixir Electric's for free along with 10 Elixir picks... I really like the sound of them on my Adamas...

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains		There was a set of the blue DRs on the Tamo Ash Viper I recently bought ftom Mike (Fugot). I thought the shedding was perhaps due to older stings, and I have the sets from Amelia, so I stuck on another. After maybe three hours, I don't see any shedding yet and plugged in, the impact on tone seems less noticeable, if at all, to my ears.
