Seriously though I sold my Line6 Variax 300 Nylon to fund an O nylon. There is one about to end on Ebay but at near $800 I think it a little over priced. I still have a "need" for a 87C-4 then I'll be pretty much O'd up to the eyeballs.

They also made one with Spanish Pine, which is the same as cedar. I think it was a 1613, but I can't remember ever seeing a 1663. It is tough to beat the deal I got on my 1713. I got my 1763 from Tony on here, and I absolutely love it. I paid $650 for the guitar, case, and lots of good will. I saw one online go for $700 not too long ago, so that range may help you to negotiate for this one. Good luck. BTW, as info, I've been lucky by googling craigslist, ovation, (model #); you can save a lot of time that way.

The finish on the necks became almost non-existant and the wood always looked, well, odd to me. Gloss the same wood and it looks great. Just my opinion......

From the description, that may have been when he bought it, and perhaps he was told it was new, maybe it was NOS. You might want to ask if he'll ship to UK.
