Every time I'm stalking an instrument, somehow you step between my target and my crosshairs. On the other hand, if I ever buy something and decide to move it along, you're one of the first folks I PM. ![]()

I still maintain that the seller was expecting too much for it, wants $999, its a buyers market for 2nd hand Ovations methinks. It's a lovely guitar but being in mind what you can buy for that amount of money I think it's overpriced (or perhaps everything else is underpriced). It wasn't an ebony fingerboard but I was happy to make an exception but yes are tastes are eeriely similar. So when you get one of these and want to move it let me know. Happy hunting and let's not get caught in the crossfire :)

Yes, I know all the times about them that people feel are detrimental--but she is a great little git in her own right, and plugged in she's right up there with her "big" sisters. I've been away and didn't see those two--lucky for you! ;) --Karen

Because I'm always plugged in, whatever disadvantage there might be in tone, if any, compared to a deep bowl is immediately overcome by the superb comfort of a shallow bowl. These walnut top models are real beauties.

And as I say if it looks nice I'm more inspired to pick it up and play. That cannot be a bad thing.

Actually, I suspect it is the SSB that makes these sound a bit weak acoustically (according to those who've heard them). However, they are beee-uutiful to look at. Trouble with beautiful guitars is that you can't appreciate that while playing them.
