I waited 3 1/2 months for them to make this one, and I caught them just before they got flooded with orders. They said they wouldn't do a burst, but Mike at MacNichol guitars seems to have a little pull with the factory and got it done for me. All carbon fiber, no truss rod, very pronounced bass, but not overpowering. Subjective, I know, but probably the best tone and depth of any acoustic I have played.

I played one of these at the NAMM show. Very impressive guitar. Congrats!

Wonder how long before you sell it for something different and new?

Jim,

Very nice guitar but the tree has got to go. :D

That guitar needs a nice Tennessee Dogwood to complement is beauty. I have one in my backyard.

It's not near the yellowjacket nest I hit the other day.

Never played one or seen one in person, but it looks great. Stunning guitar indeed ... pure and stylish. And I guess it sound like a ring.
Congrats

Here's a review of Jim's 7iM-CE . Make sure you check out the credit at the end, although I think "Trader Jim" would have been more appropriate.

My bride answered the phone the other day and said it was Jim Cannon for me. Who? Then Jim said "I guess I should have said Trader Jim". Yeah, that would have worked... :D

I'm still enamored with that sunburst!

The nice part is at the end of the video, after all the explanation and reasoning about this new series....
