I bought it from an Ovation dealer who told me it was a factory reconditioned guitar that was never labeled FRG. I don't know about that. All I know is it's in excellent condition with no issues I can find.

Location: GA USA		Okay, let's say that by buying this guitar you could be helping me get my first Adamas. (It's not one advertised on this board).

Artist, that guitar can look pinkish, sometimes maroonish, sometimes purply. It seems to change. But it's always lusty.

TJ, it seems like a long time, doesn't it? It's been less than a year. I got it early last January.

Yes that's a Herc stand.

I bought two recently but the body of the git rests against the legs (great for a roundback).

That one has the "T bar" rear support, just perfect for a Deacon.

I hadn't seen one like that before.

Location: GA USA		It is perfect for the Deacon. You can set the T to hit right on the backplate.

My son has the one without the T. The only thing about the GS412B is that when you fold it up to go out, the T kinda hangs out there, swiveling about, so you have to take more care with it.

Location: GA USA		I have no reason to be secretive. There is an Adamas 1581-8 that I would like, and if the stars all align, it may work out. TJ knows the one I'm talking about, but I don't want to point out the seller, since it's not being actively offered to the general populace.

It's been my plan to get one and then another wood top Ovation. I figure then I'll be set for a while.
