Making room at the homestead so these are next to go. The 1537 had a top crack and eppie damage when I bought it, so it made the trip to the MS. They removed the old eppies, bridge, and top finish, repaired the crack, reapplied the clear finish with new eppies. You can still see where the crack was, but they did their usual magic and it's not too easy to pick out. It still has the original top so the great sound the 1537 is known for is still there.
The beauty on the right is a 1768. Much like the 1537 with a cutaway. Deep bowl with OP24 preamp and cream binding. Beautiful sound also, very close to the 1537.
Will sell both for $1300.00 plus shipping. Would like to keep these around, and if no bites, they will stay, they just don't get played enough.

TJ, are you ever gonna keep a 1537? Oh, wait, I forgot who I was asking...never mind :D

That is a crazy good price for this pair of outstanding guitars. I want to say best of luck but I really think you should keep 'em.

"What a lovely pair!"

Crazy, insane, demented or just new GAS aside, that's one heck of a deal. I'm not sure if I should wish ya good luck on the sale. Those are sweet...

It's a good thing I already have a burst 1537. If I bought these, my wife would club me senseless with a turkey drumstick tomorrow.

Great deal. Good luck! Whatcha chasin'?

Check the Trader's signature line.

Although I haven't talked to "The Ol' Trader" for a couple of hours and he is fast.

It's a different one. Nothing definite yet, but I'm sure you have talked to him about it.

With you maybe means, I probably will just looking at all the options. :D

BTW; Kathy got home around 6:30 and said the park was kinda busy. The traffic was horrendous this afternoon.

Nooo, no heart attack but faint for sure. I'm on the floor for these two beauties. Life is amazing. It's always a question time ... right guitars at the right time. Doesn't always work that way

I will split these up (from each other :D ) if someone is interested in just one. One of our cherished (?) members has first dibs on the 1537, and should decide in a few days.

Hey Jim,
Now that I'm broke , with no Job and spending what little I have on my Son for Christmas, that 1768 sure would look nice next to my 1758 12 string? Are you a generous guy? Merry Christmas Bob! (LOL!!!!) :D ;)

I'm enjoying it too much to even think about it right now. I still can't believe how good it sounds and how LOUD it is unplugged, AMAZING!!
We were practicing the other day, I was playing the 12 string and my buddy says "Hey Bob turn down your volume I said: "what do you mean?? Do you see a cord anywhere"?? He was shocked I was't plugged in!!! :D
