The guitar is in absolutely pristine like-new shape, complete with Ovation hardshell case. I got it from a dealer who got it straight from Ovation, and the dealer never played it. I hate to let it go that cheap, but I need the cash and in this tight economy I have to price it to move. This opportunity may not come again! Terms: Cash or equivalent. No PayPal. If you pay by check, the check must clear before I ship. No holds, no trades, no partial payments. United States only. (No offense intended to my friends in the UK and elsewhere; I just don't want to deal with customs.) $2500.00 is the first, last, best, and final price. If I can't sell it at this price, I'm going to give up and hang on to it until the economy improves -- which means that this guitar will disappear for many years if it doesn't sell now. You can see a picture here: Adamas 1187 I will send higher-resolution pictures to anyone who is interested.

It's not you who has to deal with customs, it's the buyer. The only thing you have to do is slap on a Customs form stating the value.

Anyway, at least I have my other Ovation to soothe my pain until such a time as I can afford to dip my toes in the higher end of Ovation's product line again....

I've sold 6-8 guitars to members in europe and it's absolutely no issue. PayPal or Wire Transfer are your friend and shipping is no problem at all. Buyer gets stuck with some taxes and duties, but that's not your problem. Anyway, good luck with the sale.

Yesterday I thought I'd be in the doghouse over a $130 guitar. This one would be a "sorry honey about that trip to Germany, but I just spent the money on a guitar" deal. I wouldn't even get the doghouse. Povation might have actually maxed out on #47s.

I went for the optional humidity control system to take care of the guitars. Also keeps the dogs nose nice an shiny. We got the webcam option so the wife can see how bad she's "punishing" me. She hasn't figured out yet that I LIKE being out there. Dave

Right now I have two enroute to san Francisco but the yellow brick road from here to Portland is underwater for the time being... The ones going to Australia are the most difficult, you have to snap their necks first!

Must be a lot of work to maintain it. AJ (if you're watching), a nice red slothead would look good next to your blue slothead.
