| That just sounds like dirt needs to be cleaned out of the control nobs. It's a simple thing to do. And the jack just needs to be resoldered... no big deal. A local guitar tech can do that in his sleep. Nice guitar. Keep it. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Someone who has owned a black 1537 should answer this, but I think the 5 piece necks were painted black to match the body. Not all US Ovations had the stripes, but this one would have until it was painted over. It has the right fretboard. |

| It has a 5-piece neck. The electronics are an easy repair. Get a schematic from Ovation and let a tech trouble shoot it. |

This is a great buy. Congrats! I got the Fluke so that TJ wouldn't buy all of them and then put them up for sale in a few days.

Do I get a commission? ;) NO commission, but I will give consideration on future sales.

Except in both cases, the seller only got what he had in it. So, no.

Location: East Wenatchee, WA | Is this really a 1537? I have never seen a -5, but the position markers on the volume/tone are from an Adamas, not a 1537, and the trim ring around the top was wood on the other 1537's I have seen.
I mean, it looks like a 1537 in general, just some curious points I have not noticed before.

I got it from Stephen and sold it to Leslie/"vision".
