For sale:

Year: 2005
Manufacturer: Gibson
Model: ES-137 Classic
Case: Original Hard
Color: Vintage Sunburst with gold hardware.
Condition: Like New
Description: Gibson ES-137 Classic Vintage Sunburst with very slight wear, mint condition.

This is a great guitar, thin semi hollow body, f holes, single cutaway but built like a 335 style with the solid center, so no feedback to rock out but still a nice jazz and blues vibe.

Priced to sell fast: $1,350 plus shipping.

I have a very similar ES-135 with P90s that absolutely sings. These are underrated guitars.

I'd love to, but you're about 6 months early on the sale. :(

Ooh...so very pretty. I'm right there with Jack - just a different time and it'd be long gone.

GAS sucks when there's no bucks.

What's the difference between this gutar and a Byrdland? The solid neck block?

The Gibson ES-137 is still available fo sale.

I am holding it for someone but he said to sell it if there is someone that wants it.

It is your chance.

Let me know.

The Byrdland is similar but has many different features than this one.

The best way to describe the 137 is that it is the body of ES-125TC, just like a thin ES-175 with the block like an ES-335 and the neck of a '59 Les Paul, plus the power and setup of a Les Paul.

Another description is that the Classic is essentially a renumbered ES-135 with different finishes, while the Custom is an upgrade with the Varitone switch. The 135/137 series are underrated and a good value. The 135 was also available in a P-90 configuration, but I'm not sure about the 137.

This guitar is now residing comfortably in the sunshine of Arizona. It's a great player, looks to kill, sounds superb and has a real cool "vibe" to it. Thanks Serge !!!
