OK, I know what all you are saying, he just got this one. Well, I've got my eye on something else at the moment that costs just about what this should bring. Anyway, I just got this one and it is a stellar example of what an Adamas should sound like. For those who haven't played a 1680, let's just say, it's an experience. Great bass without being muddy. Extremely light in weight even with the OP VIP preamp. One piece walnut neck, mop fretboard inlays, 12 fret, slot head heaven. Not an FRG. I'll part with it for just what I have in it, and will include free shipping to the conn. US. $1550.00.

DAMMIT JIM!

I'm a social worker, not a lottery winner!

You put this up two hours after I get off the phone with the factory?! I've half been waiting for you to do it too, but I just committed to a big hunk of change. The sad part is, I'm still trying to figure out if I can get this one.

As of now, one interested party with one waiting in the wings if he doesn't take it. We'll know more after this coming Sunday.

Thanks for the good wishes guys, but the other person who's looking at getting it is one of us too. Either way, it will be staying in the family.

Please note the wood grain on this one. Just beautiful!

As much as I love mine, I have to admit that this one is prettier.

Well, it's not sold yet. Blues was the first to respond (by about 14 minutes), and he is getting to try it out this weekend. If he doesn't want it, Allison is next in line. As far as I know it will stop there, but you never know. That would be up to her at the time.

Stephen, I am pretty sure I won't back down on this one, but if I try it out and find out it isn't what I was looking for, I will let you know first. Of course all of this is probably moot because Bluesailor will probably buy it anyway, but if he doesn't, I just HAVE to have this guitar. As a matter of fact, if he does buy it, I will be on the lookout for one somewhere.
