The issue is that "REALLY special" = REALLY big bucks! (Especially for someone like me.) So, even though I had intended to keep this one forever, it's about to be joined by a custom guitar much like it, and like many around here, I can't afford to keep two that would be so similar. And there you have it: It's in perfect shape. It sounds lovely. Through a sound system, it's matchless! It plays effortlessly. Even its case looks nearly new! Here's the specs from Ovation... 6773-LX I'm asking $1100 OBO. The price includes shipping and insurance in the continental US. And I'd like to add one VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: Patch's layaway plan can come in real handy if you don't want it to be seen in your house too far in advance of Christmas! ;) Thanks for looking folks! And there's more to come.

And why wait for a relapse of GAS? They do say that an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure you know? The FUD is one of Ovation's best for sure... Can you pick it up for me Jack? :D No, seriously - I am cured at the moment ^^ But it isn't a nylon string... Now just close your eyes...lean back...and think about how they would look hanging side-by-side in your home...

(I seem to get better at holding my breath every day.) But in anticipation of letting this one go, I took it to church this AM because I knew I might be asked to do a solo meditation/prayer piece. I was. I meant it when I said this instrument sounds GORGEOUS through a sound system! This is a new, LARGE church space and the sound just resonates from the walls. I did a simple piece with just my voice and this guitar, and after the service got a compliment I've never received before: A woman told me it sounded so "beautiful, there were tears on my cheeks." That was moving enough, but five minutes later another woman told me the same happened to her! Talk about feeling humbled! (In an effort to preserve my middle-aged ego, I will presume my playing brought forth "happy" tears.) I've been playing for a long time now. Only one other time have I been so moved by a compliment about my music. And this very guitar had a little to do with it today. :)

Unfortunately I don't have the clams to reacquire this model via Patch. Who ever buys this will not be disappointed. Blues

No one know better than me that things are tight for a lot of folks right now, so I'm willing to work things out in some reasonable fashion. :)
