I never, repeat, NEVER planned on moving these! PERIOD!

But the Power That Is in my house has cut me loose to chase after something pretty special, and I'm going to run with it while I've got the chance. I admit my pricing for these is on the high end of the used market, but bear in mind that I've done whatever was necessary to put them in TOP shape because they were mine...my preciousses....(Sorry Golum.) All prices include shipping and insurance in the continental U.S. I'm willing to take payments, but I'm hoping for a Fancy Guitar Christmas, if you get my drift. I've put a few pics below, but you will also find links to my ning albums for each instrument.

Annddd.......

Away we go!

This is listed elsewhere, but I'll remind everyone again. My pristine Country Artist LX is available for $1100 OBO. Here's the ad for it:

6773-LX

Next up?

My spotless Custom Legend 1659 12-string. This was built in 1983 and looks like new. It's already been to the factory for its 30-year check-up where they basically just had to clean it a bit and set the action. It is flawless and powerful both in looks and tone. A monster...but a beautiful monster! $1100 shipped.

1659 Ning Album

And finally....Man this one's hard to let go...SIGH...

My refurbed Elite 1537.

There's nothin' like these instruments. Ask anyone who owns one. (Hopefully I can replace it later.) I bought this one in very solid shape but needing a neck reset. It went straight to the factory where the neck got squared away in short order. It plays like butter and sounds gorgeous!

The only cosmetic flaws are a couple of dings that were filled and levelled at the factory. You can see them, but not feel them now. They're quite small, pinhead sized. And lastly, the binding around the treble side of the lower bout is a little roughed up, but solid and intact

Otherwise, it would be hard to find one in such good shape. It's a fantastic instrument! $1100 in its case.

1537 Ning Album

Someone else does as well. An offer's pending on the 1537 if we can square away shipping to Europe.

The 1537 is sold pending payment.

Thanks Guiguite.

I'm seriously going to miss this one. it was one of the 2009 OFC Calendar guitars as well. One of the best sounding guitars I've ever heard. Oddly enough, I decided to let this one go under these circumstances because it's one of my more "replaceable" guitars. Some day...hopefully.

Now who wants the other two?

In a strange coincidence, Guiguite was the one most interested in my CA as well, but he can't afford both. I await all offers with baited breath...

Your Country Artist is one on my short list, but there's no way I could have it without getting rid of one of the others, and I'm not ready to do that at the moment. Beautiful instruments.

Possible sale pending on the CL leaving a bittersweet feeling that will only be assuaged when I land my quarry.

BVince, would a layaway option help? Maybe that way your collection could just "mysteriously" grow larger. ;)

This is getting frustrating! More than once now I've thought I had the 6773-lx and the CL 12'er sold, and it falls through at the last minute. (No hard feelings anyone, it's a tough economy all around I know.) At least the 1537 sold and shipped without a hitch, but I've still got to move the other two out the door.

Any other interest?

I'd love to do something on the CA but the wife is now looking over my shoulder at every turn because of the last two guitar purchases. I don't want to jeopardize peace on the homefront for the sake of a guitar. (at least for now :)

Vince,

I know exactly where you are coming from on this. Same guitar, same hesitation, same reasons.

Oh yeah...

The Country Artist is on layaway and therefore can be considered sold!

So how about some offers for the Custom Legend? :)

The CA-LX is sold. The 1537 is sold. I'm going to start a new thread for the CL with more pictures and a flashier, though perfectly true, description. Hope to see you there.

Thanks everyone for keeping this one going. :)
