I want to get this hand crafted, Sapelle wood, Pygmy Kayak, Coho model (minus the action figure) for my wife this Christmas.

She said we don't need to get each other anything this year but you guys know what that really means...

Besides, this is a cool boat AND IT"S NOT FOR ME!
I already have a Pygmy Borealis.

So I have to sell some guitars and soon.

But I'm a cheap SOB as you all know and I hate to give stuff away (unless I decide to just "give stuff away" which really aggravates my wife but let's not go there).

So I am ready to take a hit if I must and will entertain down payments, OFC financing, partial trades and relatively sad stories to reach my goal of $1,695.00 dollars into the Mrs. Woody Kayak Can.

Adamas 1885 NB5 with case, excellant SSB 12 string, $1400

Tacoma EKK19C Jumbo Solid Koa six string with case, $1200

Woody Crafted 12 String Electric Papoose, BFLG re-engineered to be a 12 string from a six string solidbody "A"scale Papoose. Gold Hardware and a Koa veneer top, gig bag, $450

Made in Japan Squire Strat with new Gold Hardware and Woody Cherry PG, hard shell case, $425

I also have a handful of nearly finished and barely started projects, as you have all seen, so if one of them interests you give me a holler.

Nice guitars Mike!
Courious about the Papoose, what neck is on that now? that is a cool looking, little electric 12. I like having guitars no other musician has when on stage.

Anyone who needs a shallow bodied 12 string In a cutaway as I did.... can tell you these things sound great even unplugged but for a stage guitar you just can't beat them.

Tempting guitars, Mike!
What makes you so sure she wouldn't prefer the 'action figure' included?

Because he's an IT Systems Manager, and you know how they are! :p

Randy - It is a Tacoma neck that I spliced into and re-capped the peghead. With the Papoose's wide neck it is like playing a standard guitar capoed at the fifth fret. The single pick up goes into the 3 way switch with the two parts of the HB going Neck/Both/Bridge but there is room in the cavity for a multitude of options.

OK, I would like to contribute to the fund, but don't need a guitar, per se. I DO have a parts concern, however.
I shall communicate my desires in a more private forum.

From the White Breadwinner Project came a few spares and this has been the effort.
I have been trying to find a balanced setup for these UKII pickups but no success yet.

Tried a Midi and Gain boost first but failed. Now I have a Varitone Multi-switch setup with a kill switch but it just ain't right. Those UK's are very high gain, I might need to go the other way.

Is it a component (pot/cap) value issue?

Why not shoot Keller an email and see what he can find out at the factory?

Mike, what does/did it sound like and how do you want it to sound?

I was looking for a variety of sounds that could be controlled (or uncontrolled). The result was that some controls made little or no effect.

Mike it seems you are a talented woodworker. I know the plans/kits are avilable for that Pygmy kayak. Heck, some even come with custom hatches for a four legged friend or two. Seems like it would be right up your alley. Prob wont have it done bfore Christmas but that it might be a rewarding endeavor. Very nice guitars you got there too.

Hi Tony,
I have already built a Borealis this Summer and was considering a boat for my wife. The kit will run about $1200 out the door at Pt. Townsend, WA and the one I'm looking at is made of a higher option material, Sapelle, was built by a guy that has built several others and he is asking right at $1700. So this is a deal.

It lloks like I have sold the Adamas NB on Fleabay so I'm about one more sale away from my goal.

Wanna buy a guitar?

The Adamas is sold but I am dangerously ready to take offers on the rest.

OK, in cribbage its called "pegging". I am two thirds of the wat there,

Tacoma EKK19C, solid Koa top, sides and back, Miratone preamp, hard shell case, Leather Strap, played but not damaged (I have repaired some scuffed areas and set it up sweetly).

This guitar is gorgeous, sounds and feels great and if you live in an area where the snow won't melt until March it may be tax deductible as a prescription for Winter depression!

How about $1000.00 plus shipping (Winter shipping = faster and bulkier). Half down, half later for OFCers.

Fender MIJ Squire with upgraded Gold hardware and SKB Case.
This belongs under your Christmas tree for someone (Rudolph Red and Sleigh Bell Gold)!
Some dings and a sacreligious Cherry Pickguard (just the way I like it!)
With Shipping in the US, $425.00

Fleas Naughty Dawg!

I picked up the kayak and brought it home today!

Now I just need about four rolls of matching wrapping paper!

I had a buyer for my Papoose but he may have backed out so I'm still a little tight on finances so "Necessity is a Mother" as we say.

Tacoma Ekk19C is on Ebay for $999 so if an OfCer can make an offer just under this could be benneficial.
Here is another shameless bling shot

Perfect for the Christmas Tree MIJ Squire, $390 shipped with case.

Enjoy!
