Joined: September 2003 Posts: 815 Location: Colorado | Not a mutant, but certainly looks like a Frankenstein. Look at the headstock front very closely. That is a carbon fiber cobalt blue finished headstock face--this looks like a Mill neck and fretboard. The label looks good enough, but the bass side epi looks like it was glued with too much glue by someone other than the factory. There's probably more that I missed. | ||

Joined: March 2005 Posts: 5563 Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | Okay so it needs some work...nothing that the MS can't fix...having toured the factory I have seen extra parts: from one series or another that are not being used currently...since the serial number places it as a 2001, the logical answer is a Millennium built with an original neck mated to an SMT top...and yes, its been abused, unloved, and poorly repaired...but it can be fixed and may end up a bargain...just as soon as that awful treble epi is replaced... | ||

When I posted it, I thought it would come out the size of the preview photo on the Ning site, which is where I copied the shortcut to the image, but it seems they transfer over in their larger size ... oh, well.
